Texture Loss: Explained [Outdated]
If you've ever experienced texture loss, then you know how frustrating it can be! So what causes it?

It's not too terribly complicated: regardless of your computers hardware & what it can run - texture loading is dictated by your connection to the server as well as the servers connection to the FiveM ingress. Long story short, this means it doesn't matter if you can run "Max Graphics" on Story Mode/Singleplayer, you will need to adjust a few settings for FiveM Online Play. Below you will find a list of the settings recommended for FiveM Online Play to maximize both FPS & Visual Effect.
Graphics Settings:
FXAA: On
MSAA: x2
vSync: Personal Preference
Population Density: 0 (all the way down)
Population Variety: 0 (all the way down)
Distance Scaling: 0 (all the way down)
Texture Quality: NORMAL
Shader Quality: High-Very High
Reflection Quality: High-Ultra
Reflection MSAA: x2
Water Quality: Personal Preference
Particles Quality: Personal Preference
Grass Quality: Personal Preference
Soft Shadows: Graphics Card Dependent (NVIDIA PCSS Recommended)
Post FX: Ultra (this is what makes Emergency Vehicle Lights flash brighter on FiveM)
Anisotropic Filtering: Personal Preference
Ambient Occlusion: Personal Preference
Tessellation: Personal Preference

Make sure to put the setting "Extended Texture Budget" to about half way, or a tick above half if you're having texture loss. This will fix that!
